In all honesty, it would be pointless to try to trump the original loose R&B/ funk groove that made The Virgin's "Rich Girls" so damn undeniable, but that doesn't mean various remixers won't give it a try.
Thankfully, this digitized revision via the Remix Artist Collective retains "Rich Girl"'s infectious summery spark, tossing in the standard sprinkling of synthesized blips and bleeps and Auto-Tuned vocals to give it a nice robo-disco sheen. Hey, androids deserve to boogie too.

Androids also deserve to get down to '80's guilty pleasures. As an added bonus, peep RAC and Karl Kling's addictive cover of A-Ha's main claim to fame, the never-ending karaoke fave with the hardest falsetto notes to emulate, "Take On Me".

To hear more from the RAC, you can cop their compilation collection (including remixes of Bloc Party, Chromeo and Tokyo Police Club) from Stereogum here.
